The Carleton Place Farmers’ Market is home to local food growers, crafts people and delicious prepared food.
Farmers’ Markets are community gathering places where local producers sell their goods directly to the public, and where residents can enjoy the talents of local musicians, socialize with their neighbours, and connect with their community.
Our priorities are:
- Sustainably grown local produce
- Handcrafted, high quality food products
- Direct sales by growers and producers of their goods
- Strengthening the health of our community through outreach and education

Thanks for your feedback on the site. We will not be hosting another community garage sale this year. The market is moving forward as a Producer based market that falls under the umbrella of Farmers’ Market Ontario. Our focus this year is re-establishing ourselves as a solid producer based market that uses ONLY local products.

Opening Day is May 18th. Carleton Place in Bloom will be donating a 100 Black Eye Susie flowers to the first 100 customers. Hope to see you there.
