Grade A Inspected Eggs
Beking’s Poultry Farm is a family owned and operated farm that has been passed down for three generations. The farm was established by Gerrit Beking in the 1960s with a small flock that he managed with his two sons, John and Albert. Gerrit began selling the eggs by delivering to homes in the Ottawa South and Kemptville regions. As John and Albert became more involved in the business, John took over the farming operation and Albert expanded deliveries across Eastern Ontario. With Albert’s passing in 1998, John and his family took over both the farming and distribution of eggs.
Since 2014 Beking’s Poultry Farm has started to transition to the third generation with David Beking stepping in to run the business alongside Kris Beking and Colleen Ford. Although we have grown over the past fifty years, we continue to use the same natural cage-free farming methods that our Grandfather used. We work hard each day to ensure the highest quality of life for our hens and strive to deliver the best eggs for our customers. After all, a healthy and happy hen produces a fantastic egg. We hope you enjoy our eggs.

I’ve been a beekeeper since 1996, when I took over my uncle’s beehives. Dunlop’s have been beekeepers in Lanark County for four generations.
We extract our honey multiple times throughout the season so we can get different flavours from different flowers. In addition, we make beeswax candles, hand cream, leather preservative and honeycomb. We also make fresh bread every Saturday.

We sell a wide variety of in season organically grown vegetables every Saturday morning at the Carleton Place Farmers’ Market located at 7 Beckwith Street, Carleton Place, ON. If you can’t make it to the market, give us a call because we also sell from the farm.

McGahey Farm is a hobby farm located between Carleton Place and Perth conveniently off of Highway 7 and has been in the family for more than 25 years.
We have a variety of meats available including Black Angus which has become a real hit throughout the close communities. It is 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef and raised without the use of hormones.
We also have chickens and turkeys which are fed grass and grain and are available for pre-order for Christmas and Thanksgiving; and have recently decided to stray off the beaten path and enter the goat market as well.
We pride ourselves in our abundant gardens which grow more fresh vegetables than we know what to do with. We have had many visitors come to take tours of the gardens and view the animals.

Pair A Gardens is a certified organic vegetable farm located in Ottawa’s south-west end (Ashton). We love to cook and try new dishes so we grow what we enjoy to eat and what grows well on our farm. This translates into fresh, great tasting vegetables, which we want others to enjoy. You can find us at the farmers markets, drop by our farm stand or subscribe to one of our weekly or bi-weekly basket subscriptions.
We have always had a holistic approach to how we have managed our farm, whether its breeding and raising our own laying hens, or tending to our Three Nubian ewes through their childbirths, we now have ten goats!
We are very hands on from planting the organic seeds, and several transplants, to the garden for the final stage of growth and harvest. There is a tremendous amount of satisfaction growing healthy and tasty veggies so you’ll likely see us smiling when you to come to visit and see for yourself where your goodness comes from.
Knowing how food is grown is important and because of this we are certified organic with Ecocert Canada

Indian Food to Go, Samosas, Mango Lassi’s and More
Raj’s Indian Kitchen is a home based business with multiple flavors which tingles your taste buds. Our chef Raj has learnt her cooking skills from her mother which can be vouched for its ethnic and authentic cooking. Her cooking is very different from the regular restaurant style with less oil or butter and leaves the palate with a burst of flavors in the mouth.
Raj started to take small orders from friends with a particular community who do not eat the root vegetables. While it was a challenge to accommodate their restrictions,it was a challenge to make it tasty as well. From there, there was no looking back in her life.
We call the Carleton Place Farmers’ Market home and it’s like one big family. We cater dinner parties and even catered for companies and for groups up to 75 people. The journey for our cooking has been an amazing one and we enjoy has serve our community with love and keep in mind with allergens and spice levels to our customers needs. We are a proud Indian family food business!
