Drop by the Dixon Massage Therapy booth at the Carleton Place Farmers’ Market and talk to Christine about how Craniosacral and Massage Therapy can help you and receive a FREE mini treatment.

CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Using a soft touch which is generally no greater than 5 grams – about the weight of a nickel – practitioners release restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system. CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and it”s effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.

Some of Christine’s clients have been with her for at least 10 years. She has seen them all through many aches and pains, and has helped them maintain great health in between.

There is also a draw each month at her booth at the Carleton Place Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings. Fill out a ballot and get a FREE mini massage or craniosacral treatment. The lucky winner gets a 1 hour craniosacral session with Christine.

Drop in and see her Saturday morning and as she says: Until then, do what you love and love what you do.

Chances are you saw Linda last year at the Carleton Place Farmer’s Market giving her weekly 60 Second Hysterical Historical Fact about Carleton Place. Linda has published 6 books and writes for  Screamin Mamas Magazine, and is a columnist for Hometown News, but mostly is engrossed in local history.

She writes 3 local historical stories a day for her Facebook column The Tales of Carleton Place and is a volunteer for the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum, and a content admin for the Lanark County Genealogical Society Facebook page.

Linda has published six books, “Menopausal Woman From the Corn,” “Cowansville High Misremembered,” “Naked Yoga, Twinkies and Celebrities,”Cancer Calls Collect,” “The Tilted Kilt-Vintage Whispers of Carleton Place,” and “Flashbacks of Little Miss Flash Cadilac”.

This year will be the same as last year and she will come to every Farmer’s Market and do her 60 Second Hysterical Historical Fact with a local artifact and also introduce a vendor every single week.
